Houseblogging: More from Mrs Meldrew

I am trying very hard not to be Vicky Meldrew again this week but alas not. First it came to light that the tongue and groove wood panelling in the Cloakroom is not at the right height for the basin and tiling and this this morning we were at site seeing the painter and found that the tiling in the bathroom is wrong.

But hey, painting is going on strong and at least the tiler did come and finish as promised. The electricians and plumbers are due this week and if the weather stays dry, sunny and windy we might get the landscaping under way. It feels like tippytoe steps forward at the moment.

I won't believe that our move is going to happen until I wave the removal firm goodbye. Must try harder to be optimistic :o)

Bright light walls and lots of door painting in action
Does this look like a two colour checkerboard to you?
